. . . who insert huge, unwieldy, slow-loading images into the body of emails? Don't they realize that most people will never sit there waiting for some silly image to download when it's easier just to delete it? If you are wondering why nobody attends the events your organize, then ask yourself if you've been guilty of cutesifying the emails you send informing people of the event. All I need to know about a talk, a seminar, a museum exhibit, etc. is the title, the date, the time, and the location. Pictures, fonts, and bright colors are not necessary.
I just deleted 4 emails with invitations without even reading them which serves the inconsiderate organizers who are too fond of polluting emails with images just right.
